Ok, I lied....
I swear, the rest of my Vegas trip report will be posted for the ones of you who read my blog (most of you were probably there with me or have already heard about it). But this will be a quick blog about the 2nd (of 12) tournament of the WSOP Poker Tour I mentioned before.
For those unfamiliar, we have a group of 22 people who play 12 tournaments. Points are awarded to each player based on their finish. At the end of the 12 tournaments, the player with the most points wins $11,000 to go play in the 2007 WSOP ME.
Anyway, I got unbelievably shitty cards, but somehow finished 5th. The best hands I had were QQ (lost to Aces full), 77 and 33. Not once did I have AA, KK, JJ, 10 10, AK, AQ, AJ............... It was so boring. I liken it to playing a round of golf where you feel like you played bad, but somehow scored well. Oh well, I guess it's better to get no cards and finish well then get great cards and go out first (sorry T-Bird).
