Regular Season Football Is Awesome
I know what you are thinking,"Um the season is only 1 game old and the Steelers won. What's awesome about that?" Two extremely valid points, especially being a Browns fan. Although me to explain.
About a week ago I was reading through the forums at www.FullContactPoker.com and came across a thread involving a sports betting opportunity at www.Mansion.con. Mansion offered a promotion for the Pittsburgh vs. Miami game with no risk. The promotion required a minimum bet of $1,100 on the Pittsburgh Steelers at the current line (the line varied between -4.5, before Rothespukers mangina got hurt, and EVEN or PICK after he got hurt). I got in at the PICK line.
Basically, the promotion offered $1,000 to the bettor (cash out of $1,100 + $1,000 = $2,100) if the Steelers cover the line and you get your money back (cash out of $1,100) if the Steelers lose or don't cover.
Needless to say I placed the bet and was glued to the TV for the game rooting for Pittsburgh. As a Browns fan this was hard to do (I showered afterward), but I talked it over with the biggest Browns fan I know, and he said it was Ok to root for the devil with $1,000 on the line. I watched the entire game with its ups and downs, and was happy to be a winner. Lets just hope my cash out goes smoothly!
